Born in 1973 in Chiang Mai (Thailand), lives and works in Chiang Mai. Studied at Chiang Mai University (the faculty of Fine Arts) and at the Academy of Visual Arts, Leipzig. In recent years Supaparinya has participated in various exhibitions including “Video Art Program A” (Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, 2012), “Sunshower: Contemporary Art from Southeast Asia 1980s to Now” (Mori Art Museum, Tokyo, 2017), and “Soil and Stones, Souls and Songs” (The Jim Thompson Art Center, Bangkok, 2017). She has also taken part in the artist-in-residence programs at “the Koganecho Bazaar ” and the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts.
