Marina Gioti is a filmmaker and visual artist born and based in Athens, Greece. With cinema at the core of her interdisciplinary practice, Gioti explores cinematic narrative, techniques and aesthetics across media, through her videos, installations and media artworks. Her work has been screened and exhibited worldwide at both international film festivals, such as Toronto IFF, and museums and visual art shows, such as documenta 14 (2017). The Invisible Hands (2017) is her debut feature film. The film is co-directed by Georges Salameh, a Lebanese-Greek filmmaker and photographer based in Athens.
