Director Soe Moe Aung is developing an impressive track record in both documentary and fiction. His documentary Insein Rhythm (2013) was screened at festivals including Visions du Réel (Switzerland) and DOK Leipzig (Germany); his short fiction film Next Month (2013) won the Best Short Fiction Award at Wathann Film Festival #3; and his documentary A Man For All Seasons (2014) won first prize at the 2013 YFS-Goethe Institute Documentary Competition. He is currently working on his first feature-length documentary project.
