Suzuki Takayuki was born in Aichi prefecture. He started producing costumes for movies, dance, musicians, etc., while studying at Tokyo Zokei University. In 2002 he launched his own brand “suzuki takayuki,” which was presented in the 2007 Tokyo Collection. He has received international attention as an up-and-coming designer, resulting in invitations to many fashion shows. In recent years, he has been actively collaborating with various companies, and further providing costumes for artists, dramatic works, and dance. He joined the new circus group “circo de sastre.” He is currently active both domestically and internationally in performances at the Aoyama Spiral Hall, the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and a European tour. In 2016 his activities were featured in popular Japanese television documentary program “Jyonetsu Tairiku.”
