Sakamoto Yusuke. Born in 1985 and raised in Tochigi, Japan. Self-taught, he began creating short animations while still at high school. After majoring in animation at Tokyo Zokei University, he graduated from its graduate school. In 2009, he joined the Planning and Production Department at Tohokushinsha Film Corporation to work on live action film direction and was involved in planning and directing, videos for commercials and websites. In 2015, he began publishing four-panel manga, illustrations and short animations online under the name Q-rais. He now works freelance as a manga artist, animator, and director.
