Born in 1974 in Saitama Prefecture, AIZAWA
Toranosuke took part in the Waseda
University Cinema Club before forming
the Kuzoku collective. His directorial
credits include Flower Story Babylon (1997),
which earned a showing at the Yamagata
International Documentary Film Festival, and
Guns of Babylon (2012), a film that premiered
at the Bakuon Film Festival and featured
a narrative set in Thailand, Vietnam, and
Cambodia. Since the creation of the Kuzoku
group, AIZAWA has co-written screenplays
for several films by director TOMITA
Katsuya: Off Highway 20 (2007), Saudade
(2011), and Own Night with a Shooting Star/
Chiang Rai Girl (2012).
