Filmmaking group. In 2004 they took the
name Kuzoku, with the motto “independently
making and showing the movies we want to
make.” In their unique and unconventional
filmmaking style, they spend a long period
of time on each work. Kuzoku carry out
distribution and publicity for each film
themselves, and for all of the works they
tirelessly follow their own “non-DVD-release”
route. Their themes look not only at Japan,
but at Asia as a whole.
