Born in 1972. Graduated from the College of
Art at Nihon University in 1995. Joined SEP.
Involved in the production of music videos,
music programs, and brand design. Joined
the TV commercial production company
Ide Productions in 2003 before turning
independent in 2005. Since 2007, he has been
a video studio lecturer in the Department
of Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo
University of the Arts. In 2016, he established
Alps Pictures, a creative company focusing
on video. He is currently engaged in a
nationwide search for 8mm films gathering
dust in storerooms and archives, with the aim
of showcasing local films from across Japan.
