Visiting professor at Teikyo University and
one of the executive directors of the Maison
franco-japonaise. After joining the Japan
Foundation in 1976, her roles included a
secondment to the Embassy of Japan in
Canada, Director of the Arts Exchange
Department, Director of the Japanese
Language Department, and Vice President of
the Japan Cultural Institute in Paris. She was
formerly professor of external cultural policy
at the Aoyama Gakuin University and is now
a visiting lecturer. Her co-authored works
include Art and Environment: Theater Systems,
International Exchange, and Cultural Policy
(Ronsosha, 2012).
