Nina Fischer and Maroan el Sani are visual artists and filmmakers based in Berlin, and have been working together since 1995. They have participated worldwide in numerous film festivals, such as Berlinale – the Berlin International Film Festival, and the International Film Festival Rotterdam, as well as in art biennials in Sydney, Gwangju, Istanbul, Liverpool, Manifesta 4, Frankfurt, the Media City Seoul Biennale, and the Aichi Triennale. They have also held solo exhibitions at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum and the MAXXI Museum in Rome.
