Kevin Jerome Everson (b. Mansfield, Ohio) is the William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of Art at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. Awarded the 2019 Heinz Prize in Art & Humanities and the 2012 Alpert Award for Film/Video, his sculptures, photographs and films─9 features and over 150 shorts─have been featured at international film festivals, museums, galleries and art biennials.
