Born in Nara in 1975, Takahashi launched the EBISU Journal, a web-based magazine covering the Ebisu area, in 2009. Aiming to free himself from media based on advertising revenue, he established project media with an area support format. He has produced COMMON EBISU, a public space for sharing knowledge about Yebisu Garden Place and Kanso Bunko (Post Library), a future-style library. In addition to providing news about the Ebisu area, as the coordinator of the Ebisu Local Dining Hall, which proposes new ways of interacting with people in the neighborhood, as the first Shibuya regional child-rearing coordinator, he has served since 2016 as a contract employee of Shibuya City. In 2015, he taught “Journalism and the Perspective of Alien Cultures” as an adjunct professor at Sophia University.
