Born 1967 in Tokyo. Graduated from the Department of Graphic Design, Tama Art University in 1991. Matsumoto makes drawing animation. His activities ranges from collaboration with musicians as Organ-O-Rounge and VOQ to workshop at schools, museums and residencies. He has recently participated in the exhibitions at Ichihara Art Museum (Chiba), Okinawa Prefectural Museum of Art and Joint Committee of Port Town, Nagoya.
His solo exhibitions includes “”Say Goodbye, Let’s Meet Again,”” Yokohama Civic Art Gallery Azamino and “Memory Tracer: From the collection of Tokyo Photographic Art Museum,” Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art, both in 2019.
