Multi-disciplinary artist working in the fields of sound, performance, video, and installation. Born 1979 in Hong Kong. Graduated with a Ph.D. in Music Composition from Princeton University in 2013. Represented Hong Kong at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, and has shown numerous other solo projects at venues including De Appel (Amsterdam), Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Talbot Rice Gallery (Edinburgh), M+ Pavilion (Hong Kong), Mori Art Museum (Tokyo), and Ryosoku-in at Kenninji Temple (Kyoto). Participated in group exhibitions at Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York), Gropius Bau (Berlin), Biennale of Sydney, Shanghai Biennale, and National Museum of Art, Osaka, among others. Awarded the inaugural Uli Sigg Prize in 2020.
