Martin REINHART, who works out of
Vienna, Austria, is active on numerous
fronts. One focus area is his progressive
tx-transform technique-a process that
takes artistic expression in film to the next
level, turning the familiar perception of
time and space upside down. REINHART
also develops processing technologies and
hardware for products like the Indiecam,
which Danny BOYLE, Ron HOWARD, and
other filmmakers use to capture their artistic
visions. In his capacity as the curator of the
Vienna Museum of Technology, meanwhile,
REINHART’s research led to the discovery of
Edmund MEISEL’s long-lost soundtrack for
Battleship Potemkin.
