Born 1971 in Zurich (Switzerland), lives and works in Vienna (Austria). Her work deals with questions of cultural displacement and the relation between tradition and modernization. Reichstein’s photographs, videos, films and installations focus on regional western contexts and examine their global expansions, connections and transitions. Her Films where shown internationally at the Filmfestival Viennale, Vienna, Austria 2018, Shortfilmfestival Oberhausen Germany 2018, Conference Textile and Place, Manchester, GB, 2018 among others.
