Robert BRESSON, Journal d’un curé de campagne, 1951
The films of proudly independent director Robert Bresson can in large part be viewed as a trajectory of his penetrating inquiry into how to replace the written words of literature with images. This event examines the Bressonesque problem of cinematic adaptation through one of his most important works.
