SATO Keiko, MuCuL, The Phase of Water, 2019
Ancient Japanese were fond of viewing the moon reflected in water, and this exhibit of work by Sato Keiko, Higuma Haruo, Yonaiyama Akihiro, and Yasumoto Ryosuke similarly takes reflection in water as its starting point. Water bridges sound, moving image, live video streaming, sign art, fine art, and other forms of expression in a continuously screened video and series of performances developed around it.
