Genres, media, borders, eras… Chris Marker has vividly transcended and returned from beyond various boundaries, while simultaneously performing multilayered activities that cannot be fit into traditional frameworks for photography or videography. In this session, we welcome Minato Chihiro, himself a nimble crosser of boundaries, along with keen Marker scholar Azuma Shiho to learn about Marker ’s praxis, and to use its foresight as a clue for understanding the current age.
