HAYASHI Kaizo, To Sleep so as to Dream, 1986
Hayashi Kaizo made his directorial debut with the 1986 blackand-white silent film To Sleep so as to Dream. This series presents that film as well as The Breath (1995), written by Kara Juro, and others. There will also be a display of stills and illustrations by Hayashi, plus film talks and screenings with live narration.
