Endo Maiko, a spirited filmmaker, has featured in her work an original, allegorical world of her own creation, combining intense, vivid imagery and sound. In this film a world made visible to a young heroine, upon whom someone has bestowed the power of telepathy, unfolds in Tokyo where the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics are being hosted. Cinematographer Sean Price Williams, who worked on the feature-length KUICHISAN (2011), shot on 16 mm film etc. in Okinawa, is tapped for the camerawork. Scenes filmed throughout Tokyo in 2018 present a drastically changing series of images to show an as-yet-unfamiliar vision of the metropolis.
