This program reimagines the world around us through the debris or science fiction that slips through the cracks of our existing temporal
and spatial frameworks. The project unites film director MIYAKE Sho and architect SUZUKI Ryoji for a sci-fi film adaptation of Suzuki’s
Experience in Material No. 56 / MUZEUM―a “museum of rubble” that earned a place in the Japan Architects 1945–2010 exhibit
(2014–2015) at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa. Venturing backward in time from Suzuki Ryoji x Miyake
Sho’s Experience in Material No. 58 / A RETURN OF BRUNO TAUT 2016 to the oeuvres of Saul BASS, and Buster KEATON, the work
is a generation-crossing voyage through the domain of debauchery.
