Filmmaker, born in 1986. Director of Tokyo International Deaf Film Festival. She has been practicing a film expression that questions the acceptance of existing films by hearing people in “hearing culture” from the viewpoint of Deaf people. Co-directed the art documentary film LISTEN (2016) with DAKEI on the theme of Deaf people’s “music,” and her latest work is The Tanaka Family (2021).
