ISOBE Shinya
Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 2007 and Image Forum Institute of Moving Image in 2011. He produces works on the subject of time, seeking experimental expression in the relationship between image and narrative. His recent works include 13 (2020), which won the Grand Prize in the East Asian Experimental Competition at Image Forum Festival 2020 and “Ken Burns for Best of the Festival” at the 59th Ann Arbor Film Festival, and Humoresque (2022), which won the Grand Prize in the East Asian Experimental Competition at Image Forum Festival 2022.
