ASO Shinsuke
Born 1979 in Gunma, Japan. Graduated from the School of Visual Arts, New York in 2004. He currently lives and works in New York. Through working as a museum educator, Aso was fascinated by the infinite diversity of the viewers’ interpretations of art. Aso creates his works as open-ended questions that encourage each individual viewer to read them in their own way. His activities include creating collages, running a pseudo postcard company and its philanthropic art gallery, and producing T-shirts as limited-edition prints.
