SATO Junya
Based in Japan and the Netherlands. Graduated from the Department of Painting, Tama Art University. His works focus on the gaps in our experience of reality and ambiguity. Through the paintings, He examines the possibilities of recognising images and reality, integrating humour and conceptual techniques. Recent Exhibitions include “BINNEN ste BUITEN” (WG Kunst, Amsterdam, 2022), “Just a piece of painting” (Aoyama|Meguro, Tokyo, 2022), and “Never the Same Ocean” (HAGIWARA PROJECTS, Tokyo, 2021).
