Born in Kyoto. Graduated from the Department of New Media, Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts. She employs unique filming techniques and simple mechanisms to produce video works, and devices that facilitate a view of the world as imagery. In recent years, she has been exploring possibilities regarding the use of imagery in stage productions, by rather physical approaches.
