RACHI Akira

Born 1980 in Shizuoka Prefecture. Akira Rachi’s work is based on extensive research and is informed by an interest in language, memory, and systems.He also continues to develop his artistic practice through everyday acts such as walking and asking questions. Major solo exhibitions include “shibboleth / schibboleth” (space dike, Tokyo, 2020–2021) and the group exhibition “MOT Annual 2022: My justice might be someone else’s pain” (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2022).
