Fenberger House / Roger MCDONALD
Fenberger House was established in Saku, Nagano, in 2014 as an experimental house museum by Roger McDonald, independent curator, who has been involved in curating international exhibitions. McDonald is interested in the origins of art and its effects on consciousness, including esotericism, psychedelic studies, theosophy, meditation and ritual, and holds exhibitions, camps and workshops in Fenberger House as a site for thought practice and has recently conducted research on the climate crisis. He is also one of the founding member of AIT (Arts Initiative Tokyo).
