OGUCHI Yoko
Born in 1964, Oguchi Yoko began working with 8mm film in 1984. Her film Endless Love was selected for the 1988 Pia Film Festival (PFF). In 2006, Watashi no Oji (aka My Prince, Hi-8 film, 2005) won the Grand Prix at the Image Forum Festival. Her works have been screened overseas at the Vancouver International Film Festival, the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and the Raindance Film Festival. In recent years, Oguchi has returned to using 8mm film and is renewing her posthumous works in light of the growing decline of the 8mm format.
