Presented here is an installation comprising video images and exquisite paintings. In this solo exhibition, Akira Kugimachi, who has been painting primitive landscapes in pursuit of the origin of civilization, returns to a human viewpoint to ask whether we can regain our true humanity by interacting with landscapes from such a point of departure.
