This is a photo exhibition of Shigaraki ware Tanuki—raccoon dog—figurines from around Japan. Shigaraki Tanuki can be found in a wide range of habitats, including the eaves of private homes and on signboards in restaurants. It was very strange and yet endearing to once again view scenery containing Tanuki, which are now so commonplace for Japanese people.
