“Untitled”, a work comprising a stack of printed sheets of paper each with an image of a bird flying in the sky, is simultaneously an “individual” sheet and a “whole” sculpture and questions the ever-changing meaning and value of an artwork by allowing the viewer to take a sheet out of the exhibition space. Seemingly unchanging in appearance, the work maintains a universal form like waves on a beach, yet never stays the same. The contrast between the bird and the sky, which repeatedly deconstructs and creates itself, also represents the nature of relationships and emotions that arise between presence and absence, public and private, memory and forgetting.
