The first short film by Matsui Hiroshi and Eléonore Mahmoudian, A Garden in Winter depicts daily life amid nature with a documentary-like touch. Alexandra, who owns a garden on the edge of a village, one day notices that someone has built a shed there to spend the night. She is bothered at first, but eventually comes to accept the stranger’s presence, and the two begin to understand each other.
This program also features a special screening of 5windows yokohama, mountain mouth, eb(isu), which includes 5windows Eb(isu) (Collection of the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum) by Seta Natsuki.
